Eat Healthy Live Healthy Urban Garden
Where: 900 Cherry Hill Road (at Veronica Avenue), Baltimore, MD 21225
When: Monday-Saturday, 9am – 1pm
Description: We are seeking volunteers to perform hands-on tasks such as weeding, planting, and landscaping. Volunteer work will be performed outside, in the garden, under the guidance of the program director and resident farmers. No prior knowledge required; just a willingness to learn and work! Come for all or part of the shift. This opportunity is ongoing, but one-time volunteers are welcome. Don’t see an anything that’s right for you? Let us know what your skills and interests are and we will figure out how to put you to work.
Requirements: All are welcome to volunteer at this site, regardless of age or ability. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Training and equipment will be provided for all volunteers. Please wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and sunscreen and a hat to protect from the sun.

PickYou’s Salad Bar Garden at Dr. Carter G. Woodson Elementary/Middle School
Where: 2501 Seabury Road, Baltimore, MD 21225
When: Monday – Friday, 7am – 11am | Monday and Wednesday, 6pm – 7pm
Description: Volunteers are needed to work hands-on to help establish PickYou’s Salad Bar Garden. Work will include planting, weeding, and landscaping. Volunteers will work alongside camp participants, so a willingness to work with children is required.
Requirements: All are welcome to volunteer at this site, regardless of age or ability. Children under age 10 should be accompanied by an adult. Training and equipment will be provided for all volunteers. Please wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and sunscreen. A background check may be required before working directly with children in this program.
